About me and behind the name

 

Hi, I’m Maggie and art has always been a huge part of my life. My earliest memories of creating art came from being obsessed with drawing Sailor Moon and Hello Kitty over and over again. I didn’t think I was all that great at it but I loved the process. I loved how it gave me a sense of calmness and peace. That’s the feeling I want to share with whomever I can.

I mainly work with acrylic, watercolour and on Procreate on my iPad. I love trying out new mediums, as long as it sparks joy and calmness!

Why Maggiezhart?

Simply put, my work is from my heart… MaggiezHart, get it? It’s also a pun based on my first and last name, but MaggieZhaoArt doesn’t have the same ring does it?
